General Description
Surrounded by bountiful vineyards, Villa Falco Nero “The Black Falcon” seems to soar above the gently undulating countryside. Set right in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, with scenic country roads leading north to the wonders of Florence and south over the hills to Siena, this authentic towering villa embodies the very essence of Tuscany.
Less than a mile away, an ancient castle forms the nucleus of the sprawling wine estate that presides over this villa. There, a free wine tasting and tour of its extensive cellars are offered to all Parker guests. A variety of excellent estate wines as well as olive oil and grappa may be purchased on site at a substantial discount over enoteca prices. Prolong the memories of your Tuscan getaway by having the staff ship your estate purchases overseas. Indulge your guests at the villa with wine dinners, led by an expert or with classic Tuscan cooking classes for a minimum of eight budding chefs. All services may be arranged when booking.
Villa Falco Nero is centuries old. An immense furnished terrace at ground level overlooks a terrestrial paradise making it a perfect setting for outdoor dining day or night. The pool, on a level below the terrace, offers equally captivating views from a host of relaxing sun beds.
The interiors are spacious, and when furnishing Villa Falco Nero, the owners held steadfast to the medieval theme evoked by its architecture. As a step up from the medieval plan, each bedroom has its own bath, and all bedrooms have screened windows with the exception of the tower bedroom with air conditioning instead. A PC with Internet access is on the premises, and the villa’s caretaker, residing in a cottage 40 yards away, provides six hours of weekday cleaning services included in the price. Being surrounded by prized vineyards, guests should expect to see and hear activities related to cultivation and harvesting at various times during the year.
A six minute drive leads to Radda in Chianti, the epicenter of the Chianti region.
