The small town of Trevi, rising above its olive tree covered slopes, looks out over the entire Valle Umbra, including the cities of Montefalco, Spoleto, Foligno and Assisi. A five minute drive down from the hilltop leads to the SS3 roadway which runs through the center of Umbria and makes this an ideal location for touring the Umbrian towns. Palio is a townhouse apartment in the medieval pedestrian section of town just a few feet away from the olive oil museum and the 13th-century church of San Francesco, whose bell tower tolls every half hour from 7 am to 10 pm.

This charming home is ideal for two with a spacious living room that opens to a small furnished balcony offering a scenic view over the Umbrian countryside. The same pretty views are enjoyed from the air conditioned bedroom. Cleaning service may be requested when booking. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed.

Trevi, the "City of Oil" is renowned for its high quality olive oil and the town's olive oil museum has a collection of Phoenician oil lamps dating to the 8th century. Within Trevi's walls, ancient traditions are a way of life. The town's two most important celebrations are perfectly timed to avoid tourist crowds. On January 27, a statue of Trevi's patron saint is carried along the town's winding streets by the glow of candlelight. The Palio is held on the first Sunday in October. Whenever you come, Trevi and the very kind owners of Terziere who live nearby will make you feel welcome.

A few parking spaces, shared with the olive oil museum, are behind the building, and other spaces are in a free public lot 100 yards away. Within 100 yards are three restaurants, a cafe bar, a pharmacy, and a small grocery. Friday is market day. A supermarket is near the highway exit in a five minute drive. By car, the vineyards of Montefalco producing high quality red wines are 15 minutes away; Spello or Spoleto: 20; Assisi: 25; Todi: 35; Perugia or Deruta: 40; Orvieto: 60; Cortona: 75; Rome, Florence or Siena are all within two hour drives.
