Utter Relaxation
Unpack once, put the suitcase away and enjoy yourself. Design your itinerary to suit your pace. Explore ancient cities, medieval hilltowns, delicious vineyards, or curl up with a great book and a great view. Catch a sunset or watch the world go by as you sip cappuccino from your favorite cafe. Or why not just do it all?

Go Native
Fulfill a desire to experience Italy as locals do. Shop the local markets and immerse yourself in the pleasant rhythm of daily life in Italy.

The Kitchen
Having one frees you from always eating out. The secret to Italian cuisine is fresh ingredients and simple preparation. Markets and shops overflow with succulent food. If, on the other hand, all you feel like is cereal tonight, nobody's watching.

Personal Space and Privacy
A country home will usually have, in addition to a kitchen, a living room, one or more bedrooms, a dining room, outdoor areas and maybe even a pool. These spaces allow families, couples and friends traveling together to enjoy quality time with each other, minus the distractions, disturbances and the hustle and bustle of a hotel. If this comes close to what you have in mind, you have come to the right place.

When to Go
Most properties are available year round. Rentals are always a one-week minimum, starting on Saturday between 4 and 7 pm and ending by 10 am on the Saturday of departure. The small handful of homes with start dates other than Saturday are mentioned.

What's Missing?
You and some shopping. Unless noted, anything consumable, such as food, beverages, soaps, detergent and toilet tissue are not included as part of the rental. On your way to the property, make a brief stop at the local market on the day of your arrival to pick up necessities, as most markets are closed on Sundays.
